From space aliens to Pickle Rick, Rick & Morty has it all. Each episode focuses on a different aspect of the Smith family, making every episode completely different from each other.
The show is set in Seattle, Washington, and focuses on the Smith Family: which includes Rick, Morty, Beth, Jerry, and Summer. Rick is the main character and the head of the Smith family. He is also the smartest man in the universe, having created portal travel, which gives him the ability to travel through different dimensions. Everywhere he goes, he is always under the watchful eyes of aliens.
Along with Rick is Morty, Rick’s right-hand man. Wherever Rick goes, Morty follows. They are usually on adventures together, their main goal being not to die. One of the other characters is the mother, Beth. She is married to Jerry and in that relationship, she has most of the power. Jerry is an outspoken man who is always taken advantage of. Summer is their daughter they did not want to have but they have anyway.
So far there have been six seasons of the show, with no episode being the same or similar to another. In every season there are about 10 episodes meaning that there are nearly 60 episodes out currently. Coming this August, Rick and Morty will be getting its seventh season. People are starting to speculate what the season might be about. It is probably going to stick to the same formula and just have them go on more adventures.
Rick and Morty going on adventures is really what makes the show what it is today. Not every episode they go on adventures but they do in most. For example, in one episode they find a TV from another Universe that has every show ever and they just watch that whole episode.
Junior Chris Moore likes watching the show “because it really shows and you really get to watch all of the characters grow”. He went on to say “I would recommend this show to everyone”. Junior Waqeef Chowdhury says “it is a solid show and I think season six really mixed things on.”
If you’re looking for a show that’s action-packed and family devoted. Rick and Morty is just the show for you. Now is the right time to start watching with the seventh season being right around the corner.
