23 years since its first episode aired, Family Guy has come back strong with season 21 as of September 25. It has been almost 1 year since a new episode aired on FOX back on September 26, 2021, and now everyone is back and better than ever.
Family Guy is a sitcom that focuses on the Griffin family, consisting of Lois, Peter, Bryan, Stewie, Chris, and Meg. The main star of the show, Peter, is an ignorant father who makes the show interesting and hilarious. He often hangs out with his friends, Quagmire, Joe, and Cleveland. Each episode tells an interesting story of the day to day lives of the Griffin family and their friends . Family Guy is very similar to other popular shows like The Simpsons and Bob’s Burgers. All of these shows are known for their scandalous and borderline insensitive humor.
The first episode of the new season parodies three Oscar-winning TV shows and movies: Forrest Gump, Silence of the Lambs, and American Beauty. In the episode, the Griffins play different roles in each show with their own twist.
The producer of the show, Seth MacFarlane, has worked on other projects that include Ted, Ted 2, and American Dad! He also voices the characters of Peter, Quagmire, Brian, and Stewie in his most popular show, Family Guy.
Some of the other voice actors include Seth Green, the voice of Chris, Alex Borstein, the voice of Lois, and Mike Henry, the voice of Cleveland. The show is also fully animated which means they also have a whole team that draws the show.
In the show, they enjoy mocking famous celebrities, music, or prominent figures. Some include Kim Kardashin, Kanye West, Donald Trump, the song Black Betty, and many more.
When asked if he would watch the new season of Family Guy Sophomore Max Doughty answered “yes, because I have watched most seasons in the past.” Also, Max said that he likes Family Guy because he enjoys the “comedy and it is kind of short.” On the other hand, sophomore Kanishk Pal replied “not really because I have not watched any of the other seasons.” He does not like Family Guy because “it eventually gets annoying to watch.”
Family Guy can be streamed on Hulu and on the FOX channel. Family Guy is a great show that just keeps getting better and better even after 21 seasons.
