The FX television network is currently airing its 4th season of the hit series American Horror Story. The show is televised on Wednesday nights on FX from 10 pm to 11 pm each week. Each season is portrayed in a different time setting containing a different theme.
The actors, such as Evan Peters and Jessica Lange, appear in each season but act as different characters that correlate with the new season’s theme. All of the seasons thus far have consisted of uncanny plots containing thrills and abrupt twists.
This season is titled “Freak Show” and is set in Jupiter, Florida during the 1950’s. The premise of the story is a carnival setting that people from all over the world with abnormalities can feel normal, safe, welcomed, and come together as one to show off their unusual forte. One of the most prominent abnormalities portrayed on the show is casted on actress Sara Paulson who plays characters Bete and Dot as Siamese twins.
Though there have been seasons aired on the same network in the past, some changes have been made. For previous seasons, the show aired at 9 pm, ending at around 10. Season 4 now begins at 10 pm, pushing the end time back to 11:15.
