School lunch is a topic that sparks debate among many different groups in schools. It is an integral part of a student’s day, providing essential nutrition and energy to help them focus on their studies. However, the question of whether school lunches are tasty or not is one that has taken the brunt of plenty of controversy.
The most common answer to this question is students responding with the answer “I do not like this lunch,” or “This lunch is trash.” Conversely, many students do like the snack bar where they can get tasty treats such as cookies and mini cinnis. Plenty of students stated that they enjoy the lunch “walking taco” which is made of ground beef and tortilla chips.
Students’ varied opinions often gravitate around the snack bar. Sophomore Louis Nguyen says “he dislikes every single lunch served but he does enjoy the snack bar. Barack, a sophomore, stated “I hate the snack bar and the normal lunches.” Ishaan states “that he likes the walking taco and the snack bar.”
Prathik, a sophmore, explains “I actually enjoy school lunch, I do not like all the things in the snack bar but the cinny minny is pretty good.” Luca Selaru said that he thinks the lunch is “very ok,” but he does enjoy the walking taco. He says “that he likes the tortilla chips and the beef is pretty good.”
There has been progress in school lunches, though more has to be done. It is debatable whether they are delicious or not. Others actually like their meals, even though some students may still find school lunches to be unappealing. The debate about school lunches being tasty or not is complex, and VERY controversial!
