The girl on fire is back and ready to fight back even harder against those who forced her make choices no young woman should have to make. The Hunger Games series is returning with its third installment, a two part movie Mockingjay Part 1.
This movie picks up where and when the previous film, Catching Fire left off. After Katniss Everdeen (played by Jennifer Lawerence) literally destroys the games forever, she must now go back to what is left of District 13 on her mission to save her love interest Peeta Mellark (played by Josh Hutcherson) and the rest of the nation.
The movie, scheduled to be released November 21, 2014, already possesses huge expectations to continue its box office mastery. Analysts are predicting the film will earn $130-$160 million on opening weekend alone.
With an average of 7.1/10 from critics and an 84% from the online critic website Rotten Tomatoes, fans are anxiously waiting for the premiere. With an 80% sale in pre-sale tickets starting on October 29, 2014, there are high hopes that this movie will take over and soar to #1 at the box office on its premiering weekend.
With every movie of the Hunger Games series soaring past the expectations, I have no doubts that Mocking Jay Part 1 will do the same.
