Do you ever wonder what students bring to school to satisfy their hunger? There are a variety of drinks and snacks that students munch on throughout the day. Since there are four different lunch periods, some students with a later lunch bring snacks to last until lunch.

Ryan Mathew, a senior with lunches at 11:15 and 11:45, usually brings a snack to school.

“One of my favorite snacks to eat during the school day is a protein bar. I usually eat this in second or third period because I have a late lunch,” Ryan exclaims.

Students also look forward to eating snacks before their school day or eating after the 6 long hours of hard work.

Jannah Nassar, a senior, values the moments when she can sip on her coffee in the morning or bake treats to share with her friends at lunch.

Jannah shares that “getting coffee before school is probably one of my favorite things to do because it makes my day, and I would say bringing brownies because eating them at lunch was one of my favorite memories.”

Ria Krishna says that, “getting a donut before school or eating a fruit and nut Nature Valley granola bar in Spanish class” is a highlight of her day.

Granola Bars seem to be a popular option for Gerry Montemayor too.

“One of my favorite snacks to eat during school is a granola bar. They are really tasty, especially the chocolate chip ones, and they aren’t a mess,” Gerry expresses.

Elaria Boutros enjoys bringing a snack to eat in between working.

“I really like bringing fruit and a muffin to eat during Art Class. I like taking breaks between painting for a snack,” comments Elaria.

Similarly, Victoria Zhang, a senior, has a sweeter favorite snack. “I really like bringing jolly ranchers to school and snacking on them throughout the day,” Victoria shares.
