With that deadline due in less than a week, some seniors voiced their feelings about the process.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Laura Peng says that she feels \u201cunmotivated to write because school can be so draining. It\u2019s been somewhat easier for me because I started writing in the summer. Although, it still is rough and scary because the quality of the essay determines my future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grace Pavalko believes that teachers are not acknowledging how much time college applications take.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grace claims that\u201cCollege applications have been very long and I feel that a lot of teachers have not taken into consideration how much work we have to do for college apps and that we have to work on them every day.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jannah Nassar, a varsity player on River Hill field hockey, has to balance sports,&nbsp; classes, and college applications.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a lot going on, especially for people that are pretty busy in the fall. I play sports so I get home pretty late and then I have to do my normal homework plus college applications. Managing my time has become really difficult,\u201d Jannah shares.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, Ara Omitowoju finds time management challenging during this time as well.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m struggling. The bags under my eyes are extreme and time management is hard. I barely have the motivation to do my homework and play a sport,\u201d Ara declares.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simon Hu admits that he has \u201cprobably done one supplemental out of thirteen. I just think that I have a lack of self-control right now. So that\u2019s my hot take.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jannah Nassar adds that \u201cif you are like me and have to retake a standardized test it\u2019s a lot of work.
